Description |
Woodward Elks Rodeo Parade in the 900 block of Main. The north side of the street looking west. Safeway and the King Hotel signs can be read. On the South side of the street the corner of a hotel can be seen and a Conoco service station sign on the southeast corner of 10th and Main is visible. It appears that the picture was taken before the 1947 tornado. I base that on the fact that the old street lights are still up and none of the new ones are in place. The entry is probably of the queen contestants. |
